1. Like to hike, take a hike at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, or browse the giftshop that the Park has to offer.
2. Like to take a stroll, go to Cape Dor Lighthouse and see the lighthouse or the Dory Rips.
3. West Advocate Beach offers a few miles of beach walking and see the natural driftwood barrier.
4. All the beaches in the area are good for rock hounding if your into that, especially Horshoe Cove on the way to Cape Dor.
5. The lighthouse in Spencers Island is located on a beautiful beach.
6. Visit Sun, Moon & Stars Gift Shop in Spencers Island for their unique gift items.
7. Visit Blueberry Ridge Crafts in New Salem and see their unique and embroidered here t-shirts and other gift items.
8. If you happen to bring an ATV with you, we offer miles & miles of marked trails for you.
9. Sit at the Seafarers Memorial and watch the tide come and go in our beautiful harbour.
10. Like Lobster? Well it'll be lobster season!
11. Need the internet, we have a wonderful Cap Site at our library, located in the bottom of the Log Cabin.

13. Just a 20 minute drive from the Bluegrass Festival, visit Shaw's Country Antique Market in Port Greville featuring Fine Antique China, Antique Furniture, Hand Made Quilts & much more. Open 7 days a week from 9a.m. - 9p.m.
14. And we can't forget Apple River, take a drive to the bar, no it's not a drinking bar, it's a big natural sand bar that sticks out into the harbour there, sand beach on one side and rock beach on the other.
